FACIAL CUPPING AT HOME

Love our facials and want to keep the fresh and firmness going? We now would like to offer you mini facial cups so you can add this wonderful tool to your homecare skin care routine.

Facial cupping is an ancient technique that helps to

  • decrease facial puffiness and reduce dark undereye circles

  • increases circulation and elasticity

  • relaxes facial tension

  • rejuvenates and helps your skin glow

This product pairs well with our custom made inhouse facial serum. This combination can really level up your skin care routine.

The facial cupping set, is made from high quality silicone, in a larger and smaller size. The small cup is useful in smaller areas such as around your lips (smile lines) and areas you want a little more concentrated attention. The larger cup is used around the face to gently pull the skin away from the fascial layers in order to reap the benefits of cupping while smoothing wrinkles and revitalizes the health of your skin.

HOW TO

Pinch your facial cups and apply to skin, then release the pinch. A suction should occur. You then should drag your cup along the lines illustrated in the image below. Do not leave cups suctioned on the skin without moving them as they can leave little bruises on your skin.

Avoid high heat and sun exposure 12 hours after treatment as your skin has increased blood flow and sensitive. Sun burning is more prevalent in this time frame.

FACIAL CUP CARE

Make sure you wash your facial cups after each with warm water and soap. Allow them to air dry on a clean towel until next time.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Always check with your health care practitioner to ensure at home facial cupping is good for you. We suggest seeing our Holistic Facialist, Cupping certified RMT and/or our Registered Acupuncturist to ensure facial cupping would be beneficial for you and your specific skin needs.

We suggest avoiding cupping on areas which are inflamed or irritated, any damaged areas or open wounds, bruises, moles/warts or skin tags or undiagnosed lumps.
